QUBIC Labs Announces Boston Blockchain Week 2026, Set for Sept. 8-10 in Quincy

This year’s theme, The Digital Infrastructure Stack, reflects the maturation of the industry. Blockchain systems are no longer isolated experiments; they are increasingly becoming foundational layers in payment networks, identity systems, supply chains, and capital markets. BBW26 is designed around integration and deployment in real-world environments, including the operational and regulatory requirements that come with running systems at scale.

“We’re past the proof-of-concept phase,” said Ian Cain, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of QUBIC Labs. “The conversations have shifted from ‘what is blockchain’ to ‘how do we integrate it, how do we comply, and how do we operate at scale.’ BBW26 is built around those questions.”

Six tracks cover the full stack

The three-day program features six tracks spanning the infrastructure landscape:

Payment and Settlement Systems: stablecoins, cross-border rails, real-time settlement, and treasury operations Tokenization and Asset Infrastructure: securities tokenization, real-world assets, custody, and trading infrastructure Data and Trust Infrastructure: digital identity, verifiable credentials, and privacy-preserving data sharing Regulation and Compliance: policy frameworks, compliance architecture, and working effectively with regulators Enterprise and Government Adoption: supply chain, energy markets, public services, and real-world case studies Building and Deploying: developer tools, security, integration strategies, and interoperability

Two cross-cutting themes, AI-native systems and security by design, will be woven throughout all programming to reflect how production infrastructure is being built and operated today.

BBW26’s program brings together speakers from across the crypto-native and institutional landscape. Headlining the lineup, Yolanda, Chief Security Architect at Coinbase, will deliver a keynote address, and Taylor Lindman, Chief Counsel of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Crypto Task Force, will join a fireside chat — pairing front-line engineering and operational perspective with the regulatory frameworks now shaping how blockchain infrastructure is deployed and run at scale. The full and growing speaker roster spans payments, tokenization, security, policy, and enterprise adoption, with the current list at https://www.bostonblockchainweek.com/speakers.

BBW26 also introduces Dealroom, an invitation-only capital formation program connecting a curated cohort of vetted founders with institutional investors through pre-scheduled, one-on-one meetings. Rather than open networking, Dealroom matches approximately 25 screened companies with 40 to 50 institutional investors for focused conversations across the event. Details and applications are available at https://www.bostonblockchainweek.com/dealroom.

BBW26 builds on momentum from Boston Blockchain Week 2025, which drew more than 500 attendees and featured Abigail P. Johnson, Chairman and CEO of Fidelity, as a keynote speaker. The event has established itself as a convening point in the Northeast for blockchain leaders working at the intersection of crypto-native innovation and institutional deployment.
