NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW brings 8 new games, including ‘Halo: Campaign Evolved,’ to its cloud gaming service, enabling RTX-level performance on everyday devices.

NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform is kicking off the back-to-school season with eight new game additions, including the highly anticipated Halo: Campaign Evolved. This move further cements GeForce NOW’s position as a leader in making high-performance gaming accessible on everyday devices like laptops, Chromebooks, and even mobile phones.

Among the highlights is Halo: Campaign Evolved, a modernized update of the iconic Halo: Combat Evolved, featuring high-definition visuals, new missions, and enhanced gameplay. Available through Steam, Xbox, and Game Pass, the game can now be streamed directly through the GeForce NOW platform with NVIDIA’s cloud-based RTX 5080-level performance, complete with ray tracing and DLSS technology.

Cloud Gaming Without the Hardware Hassle

GeForce NOW allows users to transform regular laptops or older devices into powerful gaming setups without the need for expensive hardware upgrades. The service streams games directly from NVIDIA-operated data centers, offering performance enhancements like ray tracing, NVIDIA Reflex for low latency, and up to 4K resolution on supported devices.

The platform supports thousands of games purchased through popular storefronts like Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox PC Game Pass, ensuring gamers can jump into their existing libraries with minimal setup. The Ultimate membership tier unlocks the highest performance capabilities, including 120–360 FPS streaming and ultralow latency gameplay.

What’s New This Week

In addition to Halo: Campaign Evolved, seven other titles join the GeForce NOW library this week:

Mistfall Hunter (Steam)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (Ubisoft Connect)
Sudden Attack Zero Point (Steam)
The Ranchers (Steam)
Corsair Cove (Steam and Xbox)
Funnel Runners (Steam)
Pathogenic (Steam)

These additions come as NVIDIA continues to expand its GeForce NOW service globally. Earlier this month, the platform officially launched in India, following the rollout of RTX 4080-class gaming capabilities in July. GeForce NOW’s reach now spans a wide range of devices, including Linux PCs, Amazon Fire TV, and handheld gaming systems.

NVIDIA’s Strategic Play

GeForce NOW’s growth reflects NVIDIA’s broader strategy to dominate both gaming and cloud GPU services. At a market capitalization of $4.63 trillion as of July 30, 2026, NVIDIA is leveraging its cloud infrastructure to cater to both gamers and developers. The company’s enhancements, such as Install-to-Play capabilities and advanced graphics technologies, position it as a leader in the transition to cloud-based gaming.

For gamers hesitant to commit, NVIDIA offers day passes to try the Ultimate membership tier without a monthly subscription. Notably, the cost of the day pass can be applied toward a full membership, giving users a low-risk way to experience premium features like DLSS-powered gameplay and ultralow latency streaming.

Takeaway

As the gaming industry increasingly embraces the cloud, GeForce NOW’s latest updates showcase how NVIDIA is blurring the lines between work and play. Whether it’s streaming AAA games like Halo or jumping into a quick session between classes, GeForce NOW ensures gamers can access high-performance experiences without the need for costly hardware upgrades.

With eight new games now live and more expansions likely on the horizon, NVIDIA continues to solidify its dominance in the $190 billion gaming market.
