Binance Tokenized Stocks Cross $1 Billion in Assets Under Management

Key Takeaways

Rapid Growth and Parity Conversions

Binance announced Oct. 15 that its tokenized U.S. securities offering has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management. According to onchain data from Dune Research, the product, Bstocks, achieved the milestone roughly four months after launching on June 11, making it the fastest tokenized equity product in history to reach $1 billion.

Since launching with just five assets in June, the platform has expanded its catalogue to nearly 100 Bstocks tokens. Cumulative trading volume across the period has surpassed $40 billion, averaging over $300 million per day. Additionally, investors have converted $6 billion between direct stock positions and Bstocks at full 1:1 parity.

Shunyet Jan, head of exchange and trading at Binance, noted that the true test of a tokenized stock is whether it continues to behave like an active market well past its launch day.

“Bstocks trade around the clock, get used as collateral, move between self-custodial wallets, and convert 1:1 into direct stock holdings,” Jan said. “Today, more than a billion dollars of that is held on Binance, and it’s being used, not just held.”

According to a media statement, investor activity shows that holders are integrating Bstocks into broader financial strategies. By early October, deployment of Bstocks across decentralized finance platforms reached 11.2% of total value locked, outperforming comparable tokenized equities by nearly 4%.

Expanding Retail Collateral and Utility

Capital efficiency has also increased substantially, with outstanding borrowing against deposited Bstocks collateral climbing 8.4-fold to 46.2% by Sept. 10, up from 5.5% at the end of June. Furthermore, end-of-July data indicates that 58.5% of early Bstocks investors also traded perpetual futures or direct equities on Binance, demonstrating that adoption is building upon existing market activity.

The rapid growth of Bstocks aligns with a broader industry-wide surge in tokenization and demand for 24/7 market access. During July, only 38% of Binance Bstocks trading volume took place during standard U.S. market hours, compared to nearly 90% for conventional equities.

Onchain transfers of tokenized stocks industry-wide exceeded $100 billion in the third quarter of 2026, a 16-fold increase from $6 billion in the first quarter, with Bstocks representing over 90% of weekly transfer volume at its peak in early August.

Consequently, tokenized equities have emerged as the fastest-growing real-world asset category of 2026, with total market capitalization quadrupling to surpass $3 billion by late September. To further enhance utility, Binance recently extended collateral support to all eligible retail users. Retail traders can now use supported Bstocks tokens as margin and futures collateral, enabling them to borrow quote assets for up to 5x leverage or use the token simultaneously as market exposure and as a position hedge.
