Pudgy Penguins Launches New Collection in Partnership With Asset Manager VanEck

A lot is going on in the world of Pudgy Penguins, but the most exciting of all may be the launch of a limited collection in partnership with VanEck, one of the leading asset management entities in the United States.

According to a tweet from the NFT project, the VanEck Intern Penguin collection is live and almost sold out by the time of writing.

The Pudgy Penguins team launched the collectibles on March 31, offering two sizes, big and small, to buyers. The large penguins have a supply of 100, while the small collectibles are limited to 300. Interestingly, the 100 large sizes sold out within 15 to 20 minutes after launch, while the small sizes were still available at press time.

The collectibles feature embedded Near Field Communication (NFC) chips that allow holders to claim the digital NFTs by tapping under the “Jumbo Series” label on the box. The large sizes are roughly 8.3 inches tall, and the small ones are approximately 4.3 inches tall. Both collectibles are made of vinyl with flocked finishing.

Pudgy Penguins’ latest collection bridges the physical and digital worlds, representing an intersection of Web3 culture and traditional finance (TradFi).

While paving the way for increased institutional trust in NFTs, Pudgy Penguins is also expanding and enhancing its reach and experience within the Web3 space. Last week, the project launched Pudgy World on Amazon, offering users an immersive and interactive experience.

Pudgy World is a browser-based, open-world metaverse that is free to play. Users can create custom penguin avatars, interact with others, and explore virtual environments in the metaverse. The experience offers exclusive digital traits, from common to epic, that can be unlocked using a Pudgy Pass. Users level up their Pass in the Pudgy World by logging in daily, completing missions, and earning Battle Points.

The unveiling of the Pudgy World on Amazon came as the Pengu Card went live in partnership with the KAST app.

Meanwhile, Pudgy Penguins holders have begun receiving their mystery boxes, created exclusively for Black Friday 2025 NFTs. By this time last month, the project allowed users to choose between redeeming physical mystery boxes or soulbound tokens. Those who opted for the physical boxes are receiving merch, including cards, apparel, and various toys.
