Certik Joins XDC Network as Validator to Strengthen Trade Finance Infrastructure

Web3 security firm Certik has joined the XDC Network as an institutional masternode validator under a newly signed memorandum of understanding, the companies announced. Under the agreement, Certik will deploy and operate validator nodes on the XDC Network using its enterprise node solution, Skykode. The integration aims to secure the network’s infrastructure, which supports trade finance and real-world asset tokenization.

XDC Network utilizes a hybrid architecture designed for institutional settlement, combining public transparency with private subnetwork capabilities. Certik’s role as a validator introduces infrastructure-layer security controls intended to mitigate operational and network risks.

“Certik is one of the most recognized names in blockchain security, and having them validate our network is a meaningful signal to institutions. This is not just a technical partnership. It is a statement about the standard of infrastructure we are building for enterprise finance. The institutions moving into trade finance and asset settlement are making long-term infrastructure decisions, and we want XDC Network to be the answer they keep coming back to,” said Atul Khekade, co-founder, XDC Network.

Certik’s Skynode infrastructure will perform automated threat mitigation, continuous vulnerability scanning, and node-level penetration testing. The deployment uses a multi-region sentry node architecture with redundant failover protection to maintain network consensus during periods of high congestion.
