Circle said it deployed a new pre-mint address for EURC on Solana to support Gateway, with no changes required for API users.

Circle said it has deployed a new pre-mint address for EURC on Solana to support Gateway, its software infrastructure for programmatic minting on the network. The company said the address is intended for Circle’s own use and warned that sending EURC to a pre-mint address would result in a loss of funds.

Evidence and context

In a blog post published on 23 October 2026, Circle said the new Solana pre-mint address is A6sLLUWebvoUUnQoCiB45ktetd34iamfD8kwTsBSReAb. The company said the full list of pre-mint addresses is available in its GitHub repository and that exchanges, websites and developers monitoring EURC flows on Solana can continue using Circle’s public API without changes.

Circle described pre-minting as a mechanism used on some non-EVM blockchains such as Solana, where tokens can be created and held before they are brought into circulation. Under that setup, EURC held at the pre-mint address is not counted as circulating supply until Circle authorizes minting and public release. Circle said Gateway support now allows a user to mint EURC on Solana, after which the tokens are transferred from the pre-mint address to the user’s wallet.

The announcement follows Circle’s earlier expansion of EURC-related infrastructure in 2026. On 2 September 2026, Circle said CCTP extended its crosschain trust layer to EURC, initially supporting native transfers between Ethereum and Base. On 7 October 2026, Circle also said Tereina, an SAP-backed company, and Circle were bringing USDC and EURC into enterprise workflows.

Market data supplied for 23 October 2026 showed EURC at $1.12, down 0.40% on the day, with a market capitalization of $485.4 million. No 24-hour volume figure was provided. The token is Circle’s euro-denominated stablecoin and is designed to be redeemable 1:1 for euros, according to Circle’s background materials.

Circle also repeated standard Gateway disclosures in the post, saying the service is non-custodial, not a financial, payment or advisory service, and not reviewed or approved by NYDFS or any other regulatory authority. The company said fee estimates are previews only, deposit times can vary by chain and network conditions, and source-chain burns are irreversible.
