OpenSea to Support Arc From Day One of Mainnet Launch

OpenSea will support Arc right from the moment the network’s mainnet goes live on September 16. That means users can trade NFTs on Arc through OpenSea as soon as the chain launches, without waiting weeks or months for a separate marketplace integration. For a new network, this kind of day one readiness is not something every project manages to secure.

Getting backing from one of the largest and most established NFT marketplaces this early is a promising signal for the Arc ecosystem. It suggests that OpenSea sees enough potential in the network to commit engineering resources ahead of launch, rather than waiting to see how things unfold first. Having trading infrastructure ready from day one can help build liquidity faster, support more accurate price discovery, and give NFT projects launching on Arc a noticeably smoother start as the network begins attracting its first wave of users and collectors.

That said, marketplace support alone will not decide Arc’s long term fate. Plenty of networks have launched with strong initial partnerships only to struggle once the early excitement faded. The bigger and more important question is whether Arc can consistently pull in solid projects, attract skilled developers, and maintain a steady stream of active users well after the launch buzz dies down. Infrastructure and integrations can open the door, but they cannot force people to walk through it.

September 16 will mark a key milestone for Arc, serving as the first real opportunity to see how the ecosystem actually performs once it is out in the open and being tested by real users, real transactions, and real market conditions.
