Strategy Resumes Bitcoin Accumulation by Adding 810 BTC

Analyst Blasts Strategy After CEO Signals New Priority Beyond Bitcoin

Saylor hinted at a new BTC purchase yesterday at X.

After last week’s BTC accumulation pause, the world’s largest corporate holder of the cryptocurrency returned with another relatively modest buy of 810 units for $65.5 million at an average price of just under $81,000.

Its total stash has grown to a new all-time high of 849,327 BTC. The company reported selling 1.18 million MSTR shares, raising $164 million, with nearly $100 million allocated to its USD reserve.

Strategy also repurchased $208.2 million of STRC preferred shares in the past week. Its USD reserve sits close to $4.8 billion, with another $132.7 million in USD Cash.

Recall that the company didn’t add any bitcoin during the previous week, unlike Strive, which made its biggest purchase to date. Instead, Strategy poured resources into repurchasing STRC shares, whose price has recovered to less than 1% away from its par level of $100.

The company also reported $19.5 billion in Q3 net income, but, somewhat surprisingly, its long-serving CFO Andrew Kang, who also occupied positions such as Executive Vice President, principal financial officer, and principal accounting officer, announced he will depart on November 5.
